We had a great time opening for the R & B’s at Pops Pizza in Roselle. Nice place with GREAT Pizza.  I rec’d some bad news on the way to the gig. My good friend JEFF SPEARS Passed away that night. Between that & being sick with a head cold, I was thankful to make it through the night. It was good to see all my friends from Schaumburg  High School Class of ‘78 make it out. Feb. 16th Gig @ Chicago Loop

I’d like to thank everyone who came out to our gig on Sat. Feb 16th. We played a Tribute gig to a former band mate of mine, Kevin “Pockets” McGuckin.  I’d like to thank the following Bands & Musicians who helped out by donating their time & playing that night: Tom MacCoun, Mike Bayless, Sean Colbert & the Janna Band…with Henry Wright on Bass…Sammy Ray, from Texas Flood, & Buzz Krantz & the Q-balls.  Unfortunately, Kevin didn’t make it to the gig and passed away a few hours after we finished.  He fought hard to try & make it & I know he was there in spirit.  Also, I’d like to thank Rich Potter for sticking around to help us play.  Rich is leaving the band to dedicate more time to other projects, school & Family.  We wish him well.  We are continuing to audition for Rich’s replacement & will let you know when we’ve found one.

It features Rich, Ron & Scott on lead vocals for 1 song each, the rest are with Slim on lead vocals. We recorded the rough mix of the Drums & instruments & put down a scratch vocal track. After the holidays we plan on finishing the vocals & punching in any other guitar leads, plus we’ll be adding Drew’s keyboards. We hope to have it done by Feb.
